About Transgenderdate
Transgenderdate is a dating community built specifically for trans women, trans men, non-binary and intersex people, and the people who admire them — not a mainstream app with a gender toggle bolted on. Gender and orientation are asked properly at signup, every photo is reviewed by a person, and member profiles are kept out of public search engines to protect members from being outed.
Why we exist
General dating apps were built for a cisgender majority. Trans people who use them report being miscategorised, fetishised, and unmatched after disclosure. We built Transgenderdate so that being trans is the expectation in the room, not a surprise to be managed — so the first conversation can be about whether two people click, not about explaining yourself.
Creating a profile and browsing is free. Trans, non-binary and intersex members get a free VIP membership by verifying their profile. Trans-attracted members can upgrade to VIP for $14.95/month or $79.95/year, with clear terms and no hidden fees.
How we protect members
Human photo review. Every photo is checked by a real person before it goes live, which makes fake and stolen images far harder to use.
Verification. Members can verify their identity for a trust badge, and reports of harassment or fetishising are reviewed by people, not left to an algorithm.
Privacy by design. Your profile shows your city, never your exact coordinates. Member pages — profiles, posts, and messages — are deliberately blocked from search-engine indexing, so your dating life does not surface when someone searches your name. For trans people, being outed is a real risk, and we treat it as one.
Our editorial standards
Our dating guides are written and reviewed by the Transgenderdate team for the transgender community and trans-attracted people. We aim for advice that is practical, affirming, and accurate, and we date each guide so you can see when it was last reviewed.
We never use real members, their photos, or their words as examples in our guides or marketing. Guidance about identity and safety is written to respect that readers know their own lives best; we offer options, not rules, and we correct anything we get wrong.
