Anti-Human Trafficking & Exploitation Policy

1. Our Position

Transgenderdate has zero tolerance for human trafficking, sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, and the commercial sexual exploitation of any person. We are a dating platform for the transgender community and our members are disproportionately vulnerable to exactly these harms. Protecting them is not a compliance exercise for us.

This policy applies to every member, every profile, every photo and video, every message, and every post on the platform. It applies regardless of whether the conduct is consensual in appearance, whether payment changed hands, or where in the world the member is located.

2. What Is Prohibited

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform:

• Recruiting, harbouring, transporting, advertising, or soliciting any person for commercial sexual activity or forced labour
• Advertising, arranging, or soliciting escorting, prostitution, or any exchange of sexual activity for money, goods, drugs, shelter, or anything else of value
• Creating or managing a profile on behalf of another person, or controlling another person’s account, communications, photographs, or earnings
• Any content involving a person under 18, and any sexualised content involving a minor in any context whatsoever
• Coercing, threatening, blackmailing, or defrauding another member into sexual activity, into sending intimate images, or into sending money
• Using the platform to identify, groom, or isolate a person for the purposes of exploitation
• Offering to arrange travel, immigration assistance, employment, or accommodation in exchange for sexual activity

These prohibitions restate and extend the Acceptable Use rules in our Terms of Service. A breach of this policy is a breach of those Terms.

3. Age Requirement

Transgenderdate is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Members confirm their age at registration. If we become aware that a member is or may be under 18, we terminate the account immediately and delete their data, without requiring proof and without waiting for the member to respond. We would rather close an adult’s account in error than leave a minor on a dating platform.

4. How We Detect Violations

We operate the following controls:

• Human review of all media. Every photograph and video uploaded to Transgenderdate is placed in a moderation queue and reviewed by a trained member of our staff before it becomes visible to anyone else. Nothing is published automatically.
• Identity verification. Members may verify themselves by submitting a photograph holding a randomly assigned word, which our staff review against the profile. The random word makes a stock or stolen photograph unusable, which is a common indicator of a controlled or fraudulent account.
• Member reporting. Every member can report another member directly from a conversation, selecting a reason that includes trafficking, exploitation, a suspected minor, and threats of violence.
• Profile-level rules at the point of entry. Members are told at the moment they edit their profile that soliciting for escorting or adult services is prohibited and will result in a ban.

5. How to Report

You do not need to be certain, and you do not need proof. If something feels wrong, report it and let us look.

• In the app: open the conversation, use the menu, and choose Report. Select the reason that fits and add anything you think we should know.
• By email: write to info@transgenderdate.com with the profile name or link and what you observed.
• Through support: use our contact form and select the Privacy & Safety category.

Reports involving trafficking, exploitation, a suspected minor, or threats of violence are flagged as urgent and are reviewed ahead of all other reports.

You may report anonymously to other members’ knowledge: we never tell the person you reported that you reported them, and reporting someone does not notify them. You can also block a member at any time, which immediately removes them from your conversations.

6. What Happens After a Report

1. Preservation. When a report is submitted we immediately take a copy of the reported conversation and store it separately, before any party can delete or block it away. Report records are stored in a restricted system that ordinary member accounts cannot read under any circumstances.
2. Review. A member of our team reviews the report, the stored conversation, the reported profile, and its photographs and videos.
3. Action. Where the policy has been breached, we remove the account. Removal disables the login, invalidates all active sessions immediately so the member cannot continue using an open device, and discards any media they had awaiting review. We may also delete the account and its content outright. Where we are unsure but concerned, we may restrict the account while we continue to look.
4. Escalation. Where we believe a person is being trafficked, exploited, or is a minor, we escalate to law enforcement as described below.
5. Retention. We retain the report and the preserved evidence after the account is removed, so that it remains available to law enforcement.

7. Working With Law Enforcement

Where we identify credible indicators of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or the involvement of a minor, we do not treat the matter as an internal moderation question. Our procedure is:

• Preserve all relevant account data, messages, images, and access records, and exempt them from routine deletion
• Report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline
• Refer suspected trafficking to the National Human Trafficking Hotline and, where there is an identifiable jurisdiction, to the relevant local or national law enforcement agency
• Respond to lawful requests from law enforcement, including subpoenas, court orders, and preservation requests
• Provide preserved evidence to investigating officers on lawful request, without requiring the reporting member to make contact themselves

We may disclose member information to law enforcement without notice to the member where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to a person, or where we are legally required to do so. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy.

8. Support for Victims and Survivors

If you are being exploited or coerced, you have not broken our rules and you will not be penalised for coming forward. Our concern is your safety, not your account.

• NCMEC CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org, for child sexual exploitation.
• Trans Lifeline: 1-877-565-8860, peer support run by and for trans people.
• Outside the US: contact your local emergency number or national anti-trafficking authority.

9. Staff Responsibilities

Staff and moderators who review media, verification submissions, and reports are instructed on the indicators of trafficking and exploitation — including scripted or repeated messaging across accounts, third-party control of a profile, reluctance or inability to speak freely, signs of coercion, and content that suggests the person photographed is not the person operating the account. Staff are instructed to escalate any account they find concerning rather than resolve it alone, and no single reviewer decides a suspected trafficking case in isolation.

10. Review of This Policy

We review this policy at least annually, and after any incident that reveals a gap in it. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
