As a bisexual trans guy, I use all the apps and dating sites when looking for a potential mate. Most of these sites are filled with cisgender (non trans people) who don’t know much about trans men. I think people get nervous when they don’t feel secure in understanding how to date someone. Personally, I don’t think folks should over think it. When should you disclose that you are trans when dating?

When to tell a potential partner that you are trans has been a hot button topic for a long time. The debate has been reignited in the mainstream media this year in numerous articles usually from a single person’s point of view. There are many different opinions that usually vary wildly depending on who is answering the question. It is a hot topic recently thanks in part to a study done earlier this year where 88% of the respondents, almost all who were cis, stated that they would not be willing to date a trans person.
